 Game board reflection I created a board game with Cassidy and Teegan. Our board game has a medical theme. The questions have different color coded categories. Acting out, asking, and fill in the blank. All the categories are worth the same amount of points if answered correctly. 2-4 people can play our game at a time. The game includes medical related obstacles. All questions include French either in the question or answer. The game is over once the last person crosses the finish line. During the making of this game I contributed to everything, we all helped equally. I helped making the game board, making and cutting out questions, making the instructions, and making the game pieces. During the making of the game I improved my French skill abilities, during making questions for the game. I also learned more skills on being creative and using my head to make the structure of the game board game. While making the games we all listened to each other’s ideas and made sure everyone contributed to the making of the game, which helped me learn more on my team working skills. In my opinion on the playability of the game, I think its fun, if you actually know the medical French vocabulary. If you don’t really know the medical vocabulary you’ll be confused the whole game and won’t have very much fun. But in most cases, everyone knew the words, so it was a blast.   I thought the Sicko movie was ok, I didn't find it that exciting but it was a little interesting to find out how different some countries are. Some countries are much more happy and closer than others. The French and Americans have it very different. The French have it very good. Everyone in France pays taxes to pay for everyone's medical insurance. They don't have to apply for it, and they get great care there. they don't have to wait a long time for care when they need medical attention, they can get attention under 30 mins and they can get doctors to make house calls for them if they're too sick to get out of bed. the French find it very weird that Americans have to wait for medical attention and pay great amounts of money for medical. I find the Frenches medical system very effective and just a good system all around. the one thing I am unsure about is how the French government will pay for the French people to get nannys for they're families and how they can get day care for a dollar per hour. They seemed kinda on the spoiled side for getting all of that in my opinion.. but at least they're happy! But, they are drowning in heavy taxes to pay for all of this so I guess it evens out.
The American government states that they want the best for their fellow Americans, but if that's true, why do they have to pay so such money to stay healthy, or stay alive? the Americans all have to apply and pay for their insurance by themselves. if they don't meet the standards then they cant apply for medical insurance. Like say if they were too fat, or too skinny, they wouldn't be able to apply for medical insurance. which in my opinion isn't fair at all! They people that are under weight or over weight might be needing the medical attention the most! I think the Americans system should be more like the Canadians system or the French system. where everyone just pays taxes so everyone can receive attention! (French answer) Les francais ont un systeme medical plus eqitable. je me sens mal pour les americains. Les francias sont gates un peu bien! Le Comte de Monte-Cristo est un drame historique. Je n’ai pas aimé le film. Le film était au sujet de, marin est accuse d'essayer de jeter par-dessus par son meileur ami Fernard. Dantès est exécuté sur une île pendant 13 ans. Avec l'aide d'une autre personne, il échappe et devient riche. il a ensuite commence sa revanche. J’ai pensé que le film était violent. Quelques scènes étaient passionnant. J’ai aimé les scènes qui n’étaient pas ennuyeux. Le film était version française. Il y avait beaucoup d’action. J’ai pensé que Liam Neeson était réaliste. j'aime féminin. Je n'aime pas le coiffeuse. j'aime la maquilleur. j'aime les coutumes. Je n'aime pas sous-titré. Je recommande ce film aux gens qui aiment la vengeance. J'aurais aimé mieux en anglais.
